Griffin Construction Company was organized as a general contracting construction company in 1965 by Richard B. Griffin. Mr. Griffin is still active along with his son Rick Griffin who is the company President. The Company has constructed a variety of types of buildings including nursing homes, residential care facilities, motels, apartments, schools, warehouses, and retail commercial buildings. Today Griffin Construction Company is a nursing home design build speciality contractor.

STATE CONTRACTOR LICENSES HELD: Griffin Construction Company is presently licensed to do business in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Virginia.

HOW WE ENTERED THE NURSING HOME BUSINESS: Fort Smith, Arkansas was the starting place for Leisure Lodges. Leisure Lodges later became Beverly Enterprises, Inc., a large owner/operator of nursing homes. Griffin Construction Company worked extensively for Leisure Lodges in the early 1970's. As a result of this relationship and the experience that we gained, in 1980 Griffin Construction Company began to specialize exclusively in the design and construction of nursing homes.

We have a variety of floor plan styles available to choose from including T, H, wagon wheel, K, and derivations thereof.
